MEET THE MAILMAN + LANCASTER | L’ANTI QUÉBEC | 25.05.2024

En ce beau samedi, quelque chose de très important se passe : le spectacle bénéfice de MEET THE MAILMAN en l’honneur de l’organisme L’AUBERIVIÈRE. Comme nous avons pu le constater plusieurs fois auparavant, ils ont toujours livré un bon spectacle, mais cette fois avec l’aide de LANCASTER, la cause est aussi importante que le plaisir.

LANCASTER
Depuis 2017, ce trio produit un métal efficace et rapide. Devant une foule familière, ils ont pu se déplacer sur assez d’espace pour chanter et jouer leurs « riffs » avec aisance.

Ces métalleux passionnés ont volé à travers leur liste telle une machine bien huilée alors que la foule intensifiait les applaudissements après chaque chanson.

MEET THE MAILMAN
Comme dit plutôt, lors d’un spectacle de MEET THE MAILMAN, il n’y a pas de moment ennuyeux. Armés d’une ambiance bien « thrash metal », ils ont fait de leur mieux pour se partager la petite scène de L’ANTI.

Bien qu’ils se soient assurés d’inclure des chansons des trois albums dans la performance de ce soir, c’est l’ancienne pièce Bloodbath qui a souligné le lien fort de la communauté métal : la ronde traditionnelle de « shooter » avec la foule. Cette fois-ci, célébrant la musique et la générosité des fans.

Alors que la plupart d’entre nous ont le privilège d’un toit au-dessus de nos têtes, beaucoup trop de gens n’ont pas cette chance. La mission de cette organisation consiste à supporter ceux qui n’ont pas d’endroit où aller et qui espèrent prendre un nouveau départ. On this beautiful Saturday, something very important is happening: MEET THE MAILMAN charity concert in honor of  L’AUBERIVIÈRE, anon-profit organization. As we had the opportunity to see them several times before, this time, with the help of LANCASTER, the cause is as important as the fun.

LANCASTER
Since 2017, this trio has produced a metal that is efficient and fast. Facing a familiar crowd, they moved on to enough space to sing and play their riffs with ease. These passionate metalheads flew through their setlist like a well-oiled engine while the crowd cheered loudly after each song.

MEET THE MAILMAN
As mentioned before, at a MEET THE MAILMAN show, there is no dull moment. Armed with a thrash metal spirit, they did their best to share the small stage of L’Anti. While they made sure to include songs from all three albums in tonight’s performance, it was the older “Bloodbath” that brought forward the strong bond of the metal community: the traditional shooter round with the entire venue. This time, we are celebrating music and the generosity of the fans.
